Yellow Bird Society
The Tailfeather Saddlebag Support Rack is a strong, yet flexible bag support that will keep your saddlebag off the back of your legs, off of your rear fender, and supported from swaying when on the trail/street/gravel/floating through the cosmos upon your psychedelic serpent. The Tailfeather mounts to your seat rails (unless you got that carbon-fiberglass rail, we just don’t do that).
The folks at The Yellowbird Society, put this rack together as a simple solution to a rack few have attempted. Their focus on strength, simplicity, flexibility, and price is what they’re are most proud of. They’d rather you spend your hard earned cash on that frameset you’ve been oogling over on the Interwebs for months on end, not a rack that only makes things like climbing a pass, shredding some shale, or just hauling your boom box to the local back alley dance-off, slightly easier.
Made in the USA
Large: Max drop of 8″
Small: Max drop of 6″

A bit more...
The rack and bracket measures out like this: From your seat rails to the very bottom edge of the rack is 8in. If you decide to run the bracket upside down (this is how i tend to mount mine cuz i got them short lagz) it measures 6in. from your seat rails to the very bottom edge of the rack.
The very widest point of the rack is the back edge, measuring out at around 10in.
The depth of the rack is infinite (spiritually). Or if you “Need” an actual number, 6in. from front edge to the rear edge.
(We say “around” because all of these racks are made by hand, and we all know; things worth buying are made by hand, and things made by hand are never perfect. But they often carry the character of the builder)
