Sewn Cycles with Randi Jo Fabrications

Randi Jo Fabrications is a craft sewing enterprise settled next to the Umpqua river in rural Elkton, Oregon.  Our company’s roots reach back twenty-five years where along these same banks I began sewing with my Mom and Grandma.  Bicycles were always present in my life; as a kid riding around town and along the river and through my twenties where it was my main form of transportation.

It was along two self supported tours that RJF began to take form. Three months cycling around New Zealand acquainted me with the world of cycling gear, and in 2004 my Dad, Eric and I embarked on a cross country tour.  Eric and I used a few pieces of gear I had made and after a couple thousand miles of wear and endless hours of talking over ideas our sewing business was born.  My two constant loves, sewing and cycling, were married at last.

We operate out of a 220 square foot trailer that was hand built by my Dad in 2015. I do all the sewing and Eric takes care of the shipping, photography and the odds and ends. Our goods have been tested and scrutinized by our two kids, my cycling-fiend parents, friends and fellow cyclist from around the globe who have been using RJF products for over ten years.

In addition to the soft goods production, we also run a tiny rural bike shop out of a rejuvenated grainery. Elkton Bike Station offers quality bicycle repair and a quaint place to speak fondly of our two-wheeled friend.
