Description:
We will bike up the beautiful Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie to fish the Middle Fork and Taylor Rivers along with some other smaller tributaries up-river. The campground has limited access this year due to road construction so the auto traffic should be minimal and the campground should be pretty peaceful. Update: Turns out, the road is open to auto traffic on the weekends, FYI. I had previously read it was going continue being closed to autos.
The road is mostly graded dirt, some sections could be chunky and muddy from construction. The pit toilets should be unlocked, I am not sure about plumbed water but the river is very close by. Bring a way to purify water. Plus bring along all your food, shelter, fish gear etc. Feel free to bring a little wood for the fire and a flask of whiskey to share while telling fish tails!
What to bring:
-Clothes, camp gear, shelter, etc.
-Food!
-Fishing Gear, unless you just chill’in.
Fishing license, you can get a yearly license or just a 3 day license at the Washington Fish and Wildlife site
-A bit of fire wood
-whiskey
-good vibes
