2025 Swift Campout: Lau Kawar, Medan Indonesia

Swift Campout is the annual, global call to go bike-camping to celebrate the solstice. For the eleventh year in a row, adventurers will pack camp gear on their bicycles and head out on June 21st and 22nd, 2025 to kick off summer with a bike-overnight. 

Swift Campout is an ode to spending the longest day in the saddle, to the shortest night under the stars and to the stellar community that rallies to share this stoke. Join us!

We’re pleased to introduce you to Ery Prihananto 

Me and some of my friends (total 5 people) will do a bikecamp for 2 days 1 night to an area called Lau Kawar which is located at the foot of Mount Sinabung, North Sumatra. We bring our own camping equipment, and routinely hold a bikecamp at least 1-2 times in 1 year. Mountain is Calling :)

Difficulty Level Moderate - For active individuals who are ready to ride for a full day. Expect variety in the route with a few serious climbs and descents.

Destination Lau Kawar is a lake located at the foot of Mount Sinabung. Lau = Lake
