Share

Swift Campout is a global call to go bikepacking on the solstice, June 21st and 22nd, 2025.
Swift Campout Navigators are appointed bikepackers from all corners of the world that are rallying their friends and communities to skip town for a Swift Campout. They’ll be tuning in and sharing their bikepacking rigs, walking us through their favorite gear, and in some special cases, inviting you along on their public campout. Tap into their expertise and follow their adventures through swiftcampout.com.
We’re pleased to introduce you to Sprinter Bici Taller
Sprinters Bici Taller is a small bike shop and café located in Texcoco, Estado de México. Owned by Ricardo Pacheco, a Texcoco native and long time mountain & adventure cyclist, Sprinters is located on the roadside of a federal highway connecting three states in the Central Mexico region, which draws cyclists of all disciplines for a quick chat and coffee before taking on adventures and races all year long.
Ricardo and Jim (Swift Campout navigators!) have been together through a 10 year long friendship fueled by many bikepacking trips, gravel races and love for adventure cycling that keeps growing in central Mexico.
Sprinter Bici Taller on Swift Campout
Swift Campout brings together what we believe are the most beautiful things of adventure cycling: bikes, friends, community and intention. We are living difficult times all over the world and we find hope on being able to be part of something so simple, yet so powerful as riding our bikes to enjoy nature and recognize each other on our passion, wether we are sharing the same campground or are thousands of miles away on this same purpose.
About the route:
Our camping destination will be Centro Ecoturístico Canoas Altas, which is the last spot on the way up to the top of the mountain to get food and water, there are restrooms and designated camping areas.
Despite many of us having broad experience in bikepacking, we acknowledge that it is still a new thing for most in Mexico and proper equipment can be unavailable or unaffordable. June is peak rain season in the valley which we understand might be challenging for many withouth appropiate experience / equipment, so while we encourage everyone to be ready to camp, there are cabins available for rent in the Centro Ecoturístico.
Each participant is responsible to cover the expenses of camping and/or renting cabins at the campground.
Distance 25km
Terrain Mixed gravel and pavement
Difficulty Level Moderate - For active individuals who are ready to ride for a full day. Expect variety in the route with a few serious climbs and descents.
Destination Centro Ecoturístico Canoas Altas
Cost: 200 MX
