2025 Swift Campout: UpCycles Overnighter, Wesburn AU

Swift Campout is the annual, global call to go bike-camping to celebrate the solstice. For the eleventh year in a row, adventurers will pack camp gear on their bicycles and head out on June 21st and 22nd, 2025 to kick off summer with a bike-overnight.
Swift Campout is an ode to spending the longest day in the saddle, to the shortest night under the stars and to the stellar community that rallies to share this stoke. Join us!
We’re pleased to introduce you to Upcycles Overnighter
The Upcycles Overnighter is a beginner-friendly bikepacking trip. It's all about community, supporting each other, riding bikes, and enjoying the outdoors. Folks can choose to start and finish at UpCycles at ECOSS, or from Lilydale and extend the ride along the rail trail. We’ll meet at UpCycles at 1.30pm and ride 20km out to Big Pats Creek campground. We’ll stay the night, and return to UpCycles the next morning. There will be a few different ways to ride back, depending on your legs. You’ll need to bring your own equipment and food, but feel free to get in touch with UpCycles if you need a hand sourcing gear.

Terrain Mixed paved and gravel
Difficulty Level Easy - Great for newcomers to bicycle touring who are comfortable on the road and ready to expand their skills. Terrain will be mostly paved with some hard packed gravel/dirt rail trail routes.
