3 Laid Back Fall Field Trips to Do By Bike Wherever U Are

Just For Fun

It doesn't have to be epic to be awesome!

We're here for the nutty rides that push us to the limits, and we wholeheartedly root you on in all your barrier-breaking bikey goals. Seriously, it's so incredible.

AND

We crush out out on leisure days on a bike, the ones where you explore the neighborhood, doddle back alleys and scoop up friends to hit up all the vistas.

Today we have 3 ideas for laid back, social and regenerative things to go do by bicycle. While we have specific Seattle destinations in mind, these should be adaptable to anywhere you're signing in from!

We hope this gets your wheels turning.

Tag us on IG if you end up on any of these chill excursions.

With love, Team Swift

SKETCHY RIDE

Pack up art supplies and jump on your bike for a sketchy ride. Here are three drawing prompts to get you going.

Complete one themed sketch per stop:

1. Flora, Fauna, Humans, Object

2. Red, Green, Blue, Purple

3. Landscape, 50ft, Arm's Length, Micro

It was blustery this weekend in Seattle, so we hit up our local conservatory for some botanical drawings. What did we discover? There are galaxies in every plant. It's stunning.

TASTY RIDE

We are absolute suckers for a themed food ride.

Map out 3-5 destinations for your favorite handheld snacks. We once attempted, and failed, to hit up Seattle Met's list of favorite baked goods. Consuming 14 pastries is nothing for the faint of heart, iyww.

Onigiri, Dumplings, Boba Tea, Pastries, Ciders...

You name it!

WHERE AM I? RIDE

In any given place there are layers of histories, landmarks and artifacts that shape it. Prompt an internet search with "find me the coolest landmarks in [insert your home name] and give me the history behind that spot" Then map it and head out to learn more about where you live.

Add themes and see what you get: queer histories of a place, musical landmarks (achem, Soundgarden--yes, it's a place), indigenous ancestries, you name it. It's yours to unlock.
