Blueberry Picking at the Mercer Slough - Swift Industries

Join us for a day ride to the Mercer Slough Blueberry Farm in Bellevue, WA.
When: Sunday August 4th, 2013
Where: Meet at 11am at the the fountain in Cal Anderson Park – we’ll depart by 11:15. Feel free to meet the group at the farm if you can’t make that time.
Who: Anyone who enjoys fresh fruit, picnics, good company, and of course bicycles. This is a nineteen mile roundtrip ride, accessible to most anybody!
Details: we’ll ride out from Cal Anderson and head along the I-90 trail out to Bellevue. We’ll spend a couple hours picking blueberries from the U-pick area. From there it’s a short ride back across to Mercer Island, where we’ll stop by Luther Burbank Park for a waterfront picnic. From there folks can head home at their leisure, or head back across lake Washington with the group around 5:30. Group should arrive back in Central by 6:30 at the latest.
