SOUTHWESTERN VANCOUVER ISLAND
Start/end: Victoria, BC to Victoria, BC
For Labor Day weekend my friend Stephan and I scrapped together a last minute trip to Vancouver Island. The plan was to spend three days riding a 192 mile loop with 11,000 ft of climbing around the lower end of the island. It was a mix of trails and quiet roads with a ferry thrown in for good measure.
Mileage: +/- 192 miles
Duration: 3 1/2 Days

SOLO ON THE HOOD CANAL
Start/end: Seattle Ferry to Bremerton Ferry
Marley Country Solo Tour is a 3 day, 2 night Olympic Peninsula trip that is a perfect trip for a beginning bike adventurer, new solo traveler, or anybody looking to explore on their bike! With 133 miles of riding, 6300 feet of elevation gain, two ferries, multiple camping options (all in either state for federal parks) each day, and food stops along the route (and perfectly placed porta potties-ask me why I know…), my low-stress yet gorgeous route is a great option for all levels of riders. With little to no experience needed in bike camping, map reading, survival skills, or prior bike touring, this route is basically foolproof.
Mileage: 133 miles (not including Bremerton ferry)
Duration: 3 days, 2 nights
