Swift Industries is delighted to offer the Bagman Quick-Release Expedition saddlebag rack. An alloy metal loop extends from the rails of the saddle to cradle your Zeitgeist Saddle Bag. A quick-release feature allows you to clip and unclip your baggage without the hassle of fiddling with straps. Squeeze the levers to release the bag from its mount.
Ideal for attaching the Swift Industries’ Zeitgeist Saddle Bags to saddles that don’t have integrated bag mounting tabs, and to minimize saddle bag sway on other saddles. The Bagman Supports are in low supply and high demand. We will try to stock them as frequently as they are available in the US.

I’m sure this works great if you have a bike that’s your size or smaller. I ride a bike with a frame size maybe an inch or too bigger than I should. As a result my seat is lower than usual, so when this clips in and my bag has weight, unless I jerry rig it with straps to pull away from the wheel, it will drag.
If I could return it I would. If you have lots of clearance from saddle to wheel, I’m sure it’s great, but be careful.

Useful but could be sturdier
The quick release mechanism is great and ready to install. However during my first week of use when I was on a bike tour the plastic tab that goes in the quick release and is attached to the bag broke. Luckily I was able to use zipties which seemed far more reliable. The plastic party feels really cheap and brittle, wish it was made off metal instead. The rack itself feels good and useful for heavier loads, but far too expensive for what it does. You might be better off just using Voile straps directly with your Brooks saddle.
