But yeah, agreeing with the majority here that closing this thing only works about 1/3 of the time while riding. I might try bending the metal out so it's a better hook? Holds my phone and some stickers A+++ though and molle attachment is A+++ but when I'm riding and tired and the last thing I need to annoy me is my bag.

Perfect to hold my phone during rides, but I agree with other reviewers that the closure system needs some work. Pulling the cord just makes the flap bunch up, and if the pocket isn't stuffed full, you can't easily secure it without a lot of fiddling. I'm trying to figure out a way to modify it myself to make it easier to use one-handed.

I used the Rando Pocket on portions of the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. The mounting system and scale of bag are right on. The opening closure system is a fail. The shock cord unknotted along the way and getting the shock cord off and on with one hand is very difficult and very inconvenient. I added a carabiner for quicker access and closure. For the price I would not recommend until the closure-opening system is greatly improved.

I love to attach one of these to my basket, particularly when I’m basket camping. This is great for items such as tools, straps, or your battery pack. Something you need easy access to, that you do not want to get lost inside your bag. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is the bungee strapping system can be a little difficult to attach one-handed when the bag is not stuffed. So sometimes it’s a little tricky when you are on the move. However, this didn’t stop me from buying multiple of them and I use them all the time. I would absolutely recommend this product.
