The biggest little bag that does it all

This bag is seriously stellar. I'm not usually one for much beyond a rating review, but this bag deserves it. I own half a dozen or so Swift bags. They are phenomenally well-made, and mine will last my entire biking lifetime. I started with this bag's big sister, the Motherloaf (which looks like it isn't made anymore). No matter though, because this bag is the exact same, just in what's probably the best "do-all" size and will still pack a ton of gear! I use it in the small Wald basket up front horizontally, where it won't block your bike light's beam like its big sister. Or it also fits perfect vertically as a rear rack bag where I can still access it and my panniers (my only non-Swift bags anymore). There are storage pockets on the inside and outside vertical panels that are well designed to keep your contents findable. This has become my absolute favorite bike bag I own, with the Sidekick a close 2nd. Buy the dang bag and support some hella cool folks!

material quality needs improvement

While I love the shape, pockets and organization of the bag-its a bit flimsy. It really ought to be a tougher material and waterproof. The edges at the bottom wore out pretty fast and I really didn't do much with it besides put it on the basket. For the cost, and potential of its desired use I'd like to see better quality.

packs a punch!

used the sugarloaf for a 3-day basket-packing trip, much of it on trails. It holds right to the basket without much jostling around, and the long zipper makes it easy to get stuff out of the bag, even if you’ve packed it to the gills. love it!
