Step 1: Measure the spacing of your handlebars, inside-to-inside, at the hoods.
Step 2: If you have integrated shifting, enlist a friend to engage the levers fully into the center space between the bars, and measure the space from tip-to-tip.
Clearance (height) specs for use at the handlebars and on the saddle
You’ll need a minimum of 11” (28cm) of space between your bicycle handlebars and the top of your front or rear tire to use the Zeitgeist Pack without a support or rack. Keep in mind that a weighted down pack may sag into the wheel, and pay attention to avoid abrasion.
A fair bit of hype over this bag, but it's for good reason. The Zeitgeist is a great bag for commuting, shopping, and bikepacking. I love that it has a rigid frame that keeps its shape and the side pockets are perfect for a spare tube and tools and a head light in case I'm out late. Looks great and works on all my bikes. Great pack that I've used for commuting so far. Pair well with the Carradice Bagman Bar Rack as a handlebar bag. Burly, fits nicely on my wider drop bars. Looking forward to going bike packing with the Zeitgeist! My only complaint is that you have to buy the shoulder strap extra, for such an expensive bag, the shoulder strap should be thrown in. But well worth it thus far.
